                                              -   Interesting, but we had to return early. The streets of Madrid stunk with a foul smell of… excuse me, of food. Really indecent!

 

                                              -   What will happen if the population keeps growing at the present rate? I would like to know…

 

                                              -   Why are you asking that?

 

                                              -   You know the amounts of toxic waste that are dumped in the rivers every day, detergents, insecticides, the industrial residues.

 

                                              -   You forget bodily waste. There are on earth nearly 4 billion people. In 20 years, there'll be 7 billion.

 

                                              -   Seven billion?!

 

                                              -   And how much bodily waste does an individual evacuate per day?

 

                                              -   I don't know. Half a pound?

 

                                              -   Much more. Just think urine weighs more than water. A total of at least three pounds. Multiply by 4 billion. That makes 12 billion pounds per day.

 

                                              -   12 millions tons of excrement per day!

 

                                              -   Exactly.

 

                                              -   Hell!

 

                                              -   That's really something to worry about…
